More than 200+ nationally acclaimed artists will be in attendance at the 75th Old Town Art Fair this year. With an estimated attendance of over 35,000 fans and art lovers, it’s sure to be a hoot! Michael Ferro, Chicago Artist, Art Curator and Art Historian, already knows that this event will be one for the books! Featuring a garden walk, live music, a full food court and even a children’s corner: this year’s Old Town Art Far is already set to be an exciting time!
Michael Ferro is most excited for the artist gallery of the Old Town Art Fair. A wide variety of works will be available for viewing and purchase, including paintings, drawings, pastel creations, printmaking designs, photography, digital art, 2D mixed media, glass, ceramics, fiber, stone, wood, jewelry, metal, sculpture and so much more. As a passionate Art Curator who focuses on documenting the history of Chicago through visual creativity, Ferro is thrilled to see what he will pick up at this year’s Old Town Art Fair.
Last year, botanically-inspired artist, Helen Gotlib took the prize for Best in Show. Who will win this year? Michael Ferro is considering submitting an architectural marvel of his own this year.
At the “first sight party,” attendees will have the opportunity to be the first sets of eyes to view the artwork set to be shown at the exhibit. This special event will be made complete with a photo booth, raffles, silent auction and special guests. Michael Ferro cannot wait for this!
