Michael Ferro, Chicago Artist, features the Art Battle US regular season live painting competition coming to the Windy City on March 26, 2025:
Healthy Hood is excited to host an evening of creativity and competition in partnership with the Chicago Bulls: Art Battle Chicago! As part of the Art Battle US regular season, this event will take place March 26, 2025 in three timed rounds, including two Preliminary Rounds and a Final Round. Artists will go head to head, easel to easel and bristle to bristle in twenty minute rounds to transform blank canvases into truly magnificent masterpieces.
Each artist competing in Art Battle Chicago! will be provided with a blank Fredrix canvas, acrylic paint, an easel and other basic equipment. That’s it. Artists are expected to bring their brushes, talents and creativity to the competition; no mechanical tools, references, stencils or additional materials will be allowed.
Attendees of the event will be able to watch the creative competition up close and personal. And, best of all to an Art Curator and Chicago Art Collector like Michael Ferro: the masterpieces will be available to the audience for purchase in a silent auction following the big show. The winning artist of the event will receive an invitation to the 2025 Art Battle US National Championship.
