Art Exchange
All summer long, visitors of all ages are invited to visit Ryan Learning Center to participate in a variety of exciting activities. Michael Ferro, Chicago Artist, has thoroughly enjoyed this display’s Multisensory Gallery and custom museum tour opportunities with JourneyMaker, a digital tool for solo museum tours. Utilizing the device, guests can choose from one of eight storylines as a background for their adventure through the many exhibits.
Drop-In Sketching
Michael Ferro Chicago Artist is happy to highlight the Drop-In Sketching opportunity at the Art Institute of Chicago. On view at this class/workshop will be the experimental and colorful collages of Ellsworth Kelly: Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance. This gorgeous art installation is an incredibly emotional and inspiring collection of work by Kelly. Best of all: this exhibit encourages creativity by giving guests a space for creative time! What is better than making art while surrounded by some of the most inspiring visual creations? Ferro can think of few greater joys in life as a creative individual himself!
Drop-In Weaving: Expressive Color
After School Matters is hosting drop-in weaving class/workshop events. Led by summer interns, this immersive experience is open to artists and creatives of all ages and experience levels. If you’ve never tried to weave a piece before, August 2024 is the time to learn! Michael Ferro, Chicago artist is passionate about learning new art forms. What better way to express oneself than to discover new worlds of creation?
