Opening Night of the Chicago International Puppet Theater 2025 Festival is almost here! On January 15th, the Festival will kick off with Plexus Polaire, Dracula and Lucy’s Dream. These performances will be continued each night thru January 19th. Exclusive to Opening Night are the Prelude Reception and Postshow Party; two can’t-miss events full of celebration, performance and collaboration opportunities amongst Chicago’s most creative artists in the puppet theatre space. Michael Ferro, Chicago Art Curator, looks forward to mingling with fellow artists during the Postshow Party. What a joy to be fully immersed in the astonishingly delightful acts of the 12 day arts festival! Michael Ferro certainly cannot wait.
January 16, 2025 will be the official first day of the 2025 Festival, with performances and exhibitions running all day long. January 16 thru 26, guests will have the opportunity to visit The Puppet Hub for free to learn more about the many acts, performances, workshops and works of art featured in the puppet shows.
